Tallman Research and Educational Development seeks to foster the growth of both teachers and students and implements best practices on the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learner-centered instruction. We promote excellence in elementary and middle level education as well as higher level education. We support and conduct research on the scholarship of teaching and learning and advocate for a climate of inclusion and equity. We are committed to educating the whole person through effective, innovative, and transformative instruction.

Capabilities Statement

We support and conduct research on the scholarship of teaching and learning and advocate for a climate of inclusion and equity. We are committed to educating the whole person through effective, innovative, and trans formative instruction by providing assistance to teachers, faculty, curriculum supervisors, education/departmental administrators, deans, local education agencies, and educational programs/projects at the state and local levels, in the development, implementation, and evaluation of education programs/projects.

Our work involves assisting in the design and implementation of instructional strategies based on current instruction methodologies; developing, evaluating and advising on the use of curriculum/instructional materials; developing the measures and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of the educational programs and subsequent assessment of strategy effectiveness.
